一、簽證 / I. Visas

（一）簽證類型 / Types of Visas

依據：「外國護照簽證條例」。
Legal basis: Statute Governing Issuance of ROC Visas in Foreign Passports.

外籍人士進入中華民國（臺灣）之簽證分為四種類型：
Visas issued to foreign nationals entering the Republic of China (Taiwan) are divided into four categories:

簽證類型
Visa Type 		說明
Description
停留簽證
Visitor Visa 		外籍人士持有效護照或其他合法證件，預計在臺灣停留時間不超過6個月者。
Foreign nationals holding valid passports or other legal travel documents who intend to stay in Taiwan for no more than six months.
居留簽證
Resident Visa 		外籍人士持一般護照或其他合法證件，預計在臺灣停留時間超過6個月以上者。
Foreign nationals holding ordinary passports or other legal travel documents who intend to reside in Taiwan for more than six months.
外交簽證
Diplomatic Visa 		適用於持外交護照或元首通行狀之人士等。
Applicable to eligible holders of diplomatic passports or heads of state traveling with appropriate official documents.
禮遇簽證
Courtesy Visa 		適用於外國卸任元首、副元首、總理、副總理、外交部長及其眷屬等。
Applicable to certain foreign dignitaries, including former heads of state, vice presidents, prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, foreign ministers, and eligible family members.

P 觀光、訪問、探親
Tourism, Visits, Family Visits 		從事無報酬性之非商業活動、一般社會訪問、觀光及無須許可之活動。
For unpaid, non-commercial activities, social visits, tourism, and activities that do not require special authorization.
FS 外國留學生
International Students 		依「外國學生來臺就學辦法」於教育部認可之學校就讀。
For international students studying at institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education under the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.
FC 僑生
Overseas Chinese Students 		依「僑生回國就學及輔導辦法」來中華民國就讀。
For overseas Chinese students pursuing studies in Taiwan under the Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan.
FR 研習
Study / Training 		1. 研習中文。
2. 經內政部依「宗教團體申請外籍人士來臺研修宗教教義要點」許可研習宗教教義。
3. 海外青年技術訓練班學生。
4. 其他經許可之研習或訓練活動。
1. Studying Mandarin Chinese.
2. Studying religious doctrines with authorization from the Ministry of the Interior.
3. Participating in technical training programs for overseas Chinese youth.
4. Other approved study or training activities.
FT 實習、代訓
Internship / Training 		1. 外國駐臺機構之實習生，或經目的事業主管機關核准者。
2. 代訓須經經濟部投資審議司核准。（國內廠商對外投資或整廠設備輸出申請代訓外國員工案件處理原則）。
1. Interns at foreign organizations based in Taiwan or individuals approved by the competent authorities.
2. Training programs for foreign employees that require approval from the relevant investment review authority under the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

二、入境前申請 / II. Pre-Arrival Applications

獲本校錄取之境外學生，應依個人身分及國籍，於入境臺灣前辦理相關簽證或入境許可。請確認所需文件及申請程序，並預留審查時間。
Students admitted to Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST) must obtain the appropriate visa or entry permit before entering Taiwan, according to their nationality and student status. Please check the required documents and application procedures and allow sufficient time for processing.

僑生
Overseas Chinese Students 		中文說明：
1. 確認本校錄取通知及僑生身分相關文件。
2. 持外國護照者，依國籍及來臺就學事由，向中華民國駐外館處申請適當簽證。
3. 持中華民國護照者，應依國籍及戶籍狀態確認適用之入境規定。
4. 入境前確認護照、簽證或入境許可之有效期限。
English:
1. Confirm your CGUST admission letter and documents verifying your overseas Chinese student status.
2. If you hold a foreign passport, apply for the appropriate visa at an ROC overseas mission according to your nationality and purpose of study.
3. If you hold an ROC passport, check the entry requirements applicable to your nationality and household registration status.
4. Before departure, verify the validity of your passport, visa, or entry permit.

港澳生
Hong Kong and Macao Students 		中文說明：
1. 確認本校錄取通知及港澳居民身分證明文件。
2. 依內政部移民署規定，申請適用之入臺許可。
3. 依個人身分及入境目的確認申請方式，並備妥護照及相關證明文件。
4. 取得有效入境許可後，再確認赴臺行程。
English:
1. Confirm your CGUST admission letter and documents verifying your Hong Kong or Macao resident status.
2. Apply for the appropriate entry permit in accordance with National Immigration Agency regulations.
3. Check the application requirements based on your status and purpose of entry, and prepare your passport and supporting documents.
4. Obtain a valid entry permit and confirm your travel arrangements before departure.

外國學生
International Students 		中文說明：
1. 取得本校正式錄取通知書。
2. 準備護照、簽證申請表、照片、健康檢查證明、學歷及財力證明等文件。
3. 向中華民國駐外館處申請來臺就學居留簽證。
4. 取得簽證後，確認入境及新生報到相關安排。
English:
1. Obtain your official admission letter from CGUST.
2. Prepare the required documents, including your passport, visa application form, photographs, health certificate, academic credentials, and proof of financial support.
3. Apply for a resident visa for studying in Taiwan at an ROC overseas mission.
4. After obtaining your visa, confirm your travel arrangements and new student registration procedures.

1. 不同身分、國籍及護照種類之學生，適用的入境規定可能不同。
Entry requirements may vary depending on student status, nationality, and passport type.
2. 錄取通知書不等同於簽證或入境許可。
An admission letter does not serve as a visa or entry permit.
3. 申請文件、審查時間及相關費用，請以主管機關最新公告為準。
Required documents, processing times, and fees are subject to the latest announcements from the relevant authorities.
4. 如有入境申請相關疑問，請提前洽詢國際事務處。
