2026 Nursing Student Exchange Program at VinUniversity, Vietnam (July 25 – August 2)
Led by Dean Chang Hsiao-Yun, the Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST) nursing student delegation has successfully concluded a fulfilling short-term summer exchange program at VinUniversity (VinUni) in Hanoi, Vietnam.
This comprehensive program provided students with a unique blend of academic enrichment and real-world clinical immersion. Key highlights of the journey included:
Academic Collaboration: Joint lectures and interactive simulations, including the engaging "Friday Night at the ER" activity with VinUni peers.
Modern Clinical Observation: An in-depth hospital tour at Vinmec Times City to observe the daily operations and workflows of a modern healthcare environment.
Grassroots Healthcare Experience: Field trips to the Bat Trang Commune Health Station, Da Ton Clinic, and a local family’s home, offering an invaluable look into Vietnam’s primary care and home healthcare practices.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the leadership, faculty, and students of VinUni, as well as the dedicated medical staff at Vinmec and local clinics, for their unparalleled support and hospitality. Our students return to Taiwan with broadened global perspectives, enriched nursing knowledge, and beautiful memories. We look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership in the future!
